2 completely disc-shaped or folded up at their edges. The base plate material should meet the requirements of the product to be packed, with which it is in direct contact. A suitable material is e.g. plastic. For powdered and granular solid products, the base plate's choice of material is further.
The material of the outer bag should withstand excessive wear and repeated folding. Suitable materials are e.g. film structures such as reinforcement or plastic glue as well as fabric such as plastic fabric. In the side parts of the outer bag, the side stiffeners should withstand wear and tear and be sufficiently light and still achieve a stiffening effect. Such materials are e.g. plastic, veneer or wood cover plate.
You can also affect the durability of the transport vessel by changing the thickness of the side stiffeners.
The material of the inner bag should meet the requirements of the material to be packed, as the material to be transported is in direct contact with the inner bag. In addition, the material of the inner bag in some applications of the package should be inexpensive, as it is expedient to dispose of it after use. Suitable materials are e.g. a film structure such as a plastic film for fl surface and other products that require impermeability, and fabric for example for granular solid products.
When the transport vessel is filled and closed, a protective hood is placed on the outer bag, the inner bag and the lid which has the shape of the transport vessel and completely covers the transport vessel. The protective hood has possible fastening means, by means of which the transport vessel can be fastened to the transport base, e.g. by means of rep. If the material to be transported by nature is very solid, the protective hood can be used without fasteners. In this case, the transport vessel can be attached to the transport pallet with pallet wrapping.
More precisely, the characteristic of the collapsible transport vessel according to the invention is that stated in the characterizing part of claim 1.
In the following, the invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which fi g. Fig. 1 shows a transport vessel according to the invention on a transport pallet, seen from the side, Fig. 2 shows a transport vessel according to the invention on a transport pallet, seen from above, and 10 25 g. 3 shows some transport containers according to the invention folded on a transport pallet.
The collapsible transport vessel is suitable for transporting surface, solidifying, powdered and granular foods, which are e.g. fat-based fillings, liquids, oils and jams. The following is an example of filling a transport vessel with grease, Lex. margarine and emptying the same. Typical of many fats is that they change from fl surface to solid consistency as the crystallization continues. In this case, the material is no longer well-performing, but plastic.
In Figure 1, the collapsible transport vessel according to the invention and the transport pallet 8 are produced partially cut. The transport vessel consists of an outer bag 1, which can be filled on the transport pallet 8, an inner bag 2 and a lid 3. The outer bag 1 has a bottom 4, side parts 5 (figure 2) and side stiffeners 6. The side parts 5 are attached to each other and to the bottom 4 by sewing together . The side stiffeners 6 encapsulated inside the annular structure 5 of the side parts 5 increase the durability of the outer bag 1 and straighten the structure. The outer bag 1 is folded in its seams 11 (fi g. 2) so that the side parts 5 stand on top of each other, whereby the outer bag 1 is made to be accommodated also in a small space.
The cross section of the partially cut outer bag 1 shown in Figure 2 is octahedral, with eight side parts 5. Before filling, the outer bag 1 is placed on the transpeller 8 and inside it an inner bag 2 is placed, the edges of which are folded over the edges of the outer bag 1. A bottom plate 7 with the same dimension and shape as the bottom 4 of the outer bag 1 is placed on the bottom of the inner bag 2, which bottom plate prevents the bag from being introduced into the emptying pump when the grease is sucked away. The bottom plate 7 has the shape of a trough, the edges of which rise upwards and press the inner bag 2 tightly against the wall of the outer bag 1, thus effectively preventing the movement of the inner bag 2.
The base plate 7 is cleaned in the application according to the example after each use. When using bottom plate 7 on the bottom of the inner bag 2, there is no need for expensive inner bags 2, which are sewn to the same shape as the outer bag 1.
The inner bag 2 is filled with the desired material 10, such as fat or paste. When the vessel is filled, the edges of the outer bag 1 change from polygon to circular shape, depending on the extensibility of the side parts 5, the side stiffeners 6 and the seams 11. When the inner bag 2 is full, a plastic lid 3 with the shape of the cross section of the outer bag 1 is placed on it and the edges of the inner bag 2 located outside the sides of the outer bag are folded on top of the lid 3 and fastened e.g. by taping. After this, on the outer bag 1, the inner bag 2 and the lid 3 a protective hood 9 with the same shape and dimension as the transport vessel is placed, which protective hood has fastening means, which make it possible to fasten the transport vessel to the transport pallet 8 by means of foil or rope . A suitable material for the protective hood 9 is e.g. an elm structure such as plastic or reinforcement elm and fabric such as plastic fabric.
The emptying of the transport vessel is started by lifting the transport vessel with the transport pallet 8 under the lid of the emptying device. The emptying device can have a floor scale which controls the emptying of the transport vessel. After that, the attachments of the transport vessel, protective cap 9 and lid 3 are removed. In the middle of the round lid of the emptying device, with the same shape as the transport vessel, is a suction device which sucks the filling 10 out of the inner bag 2.
The lid of the emptying device acts as a press and by its own gravity pushes the filling 10 downwards at the same time as the filling is sucked through the central suction pipe in the lid. The bottom plate 7 on the bottom of the inner bag 2 prevents the inner bag 2 from being sucked into the suction device and at the same time the inner bag 2 is emptied more efficiently, and no filling 10 remains in the inner bag 2. After emptying, the bottom plate 7 is removed from the bottom of the inner bag 2 and washed , whereby it can be used again. The inner bag 2 is not attached to the bottom of the outer bag 1, so it is easy to remove. If filling has remained in the inner bag 2, it can be run through a press, whereby the rest of the filling 10 is also obtained. After emptying, discard inner bag 2 and lid 3.
In Figure 3, the empty outer bags 1 have been folded together along the seams 11. In this way, all the packages of a truck are folded together on the pallet location of the transport pallet 8. The packages depicted as an example can be reused 5-10 times, also the base plate 7 and the protective hood 9 can be reused.
The side parts are attached to each other and to a possible bottom depending on the material of the outer bag, either by sewing, gluing, melt-joining or by some other suitable method.
The cross section of the outer bag is not bound to an octahedral shape, but it is also possible to use other applicable shapes, such as triangle, square, or hexagon. The inner bag can be a specially made bag sewn in the shape of the outer bag or a non-shaped normal bag.
When using a bottom plate inside the inner bag, you can use a normal bag. If the transport vessel does not have a bottom plate 7, a bag sewn in the shape of the outer bag is needed. The lid is either of the same material as the inner bag or another suitable material. When using the collapsible transport vessel according to the invention, the suppliers of goods no longer need to wash or maintain the transport vessels. The customers' material losses are reduced, as the vessels are made completely empty. Empty outer bags take up significantly less space, reducing return shipping costs and suppliers of goods can increase their market area and customers can order products further away.
